ENASEL is the Algerian major producer and distributor of salt. ENASEL head office is located at Constantine. Its production originates from 5 marshes located at Bethioua (Oran), Sidi Bouziane (Relizane), Guergour Lamri (Sétif), El Méghaïer (El Oued) and Ouled Zouaï (Oum El Bouaghi), for an annual quantity of 400,000 tons of solar salt and from a refinery of rock salt of 30,000 tons located at El Outaya (Biskra).
Salt production unit of d’El-Outaya were found in 1976. the complex is located at twenty five kilometers in the north west from the county seat of the wilaya of Biskra in the daira of El- Outaya on the national road N° 3 linking the wilaya of Biskra to the wilaya of Batna and at three kilometers at the diaper bird flying of salt or (salt rock). The complex salt of El-Outaya has as main mission, the gem salt exploitation according to the process of water dissolution, treatment and salts conditioning.
His major vocation consists on the production and the marketing of the complete scale In different packages.
The salts production unit of Wadi El Djemâa owes its creation to Sidi Bouziane marsh which goes back up to an ancient period. This " salt lake " is extented over a 1 740 hectare area, it is located at 18 km from Relizane and 3 km from Wadi El Djemâa, therefore close to urban areas and to the Main Road 4 axle linking the centre to the West. Enasel had been created in 1983, with Sidi Bouziane salt marshes.
Sidi Bouziane unit is a marshes salt extraction, treatement and marketing unit.
The Port Unit of Jijel is a support unit. It is installed at the port of Djen-Djen. Its main mission is to it take delivery and keep in stock the salt routed from the Production Unit of El-Meghaïer (El Oued) for the export. Its activities consist in the unloading of salt wagons or trucks, control, selection and loading of ships for exportation.
Over ten years, the company exports from this unit which was created at the same time as the campaign for the export of nutrient salt to Iraq. Since then, the unit continues adding up experience by exporting to different countries. Its main customers are France and Spain.
Spearhead of the Company, Transel became an actual force thanks to the will of the General Management and the devotion of the staff detailed to this new structure.
TRANSEL is located at El Outaya, Daïra of El Outaya, Wilaya of Biskra.
Training within ENASEL includes all functions : trade, quality audit, maintenance, production, marketing, human resources, and all socioprofessional categories.
To insure the training of its staff, generally the company calls on outer organizations: INPED,
INT, CETIC, IFACT, SOFIM, etc...
On-the-job trainings were insured by the General Manager and the officer in charge of Quality Management within the framework of the setting of the management quality system (ISO 9001 version 2000).
